Women’s Ministry is a place where women can gather together and experience fellowship, community, service, and fun. We strive to encourage women in their faith walk by
· helping them to grow in their relationship with God
· empowering them to use their gifts and talents in service to God and others, equipping them to reach others for Christ.
First Place Weight Management
First Place meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm.
This Christ-centered, balanced weight-loss program has guided hundreds of thousands of people to a healthy lifestyle and a closer walk with the Lord. The program includes Bible study, group support and accountability; a proven, common-sense nutrition plan; regular exercise; daily prayer; and Scripture memorization. GROUPS
Mothers of Preschoolers meets 2nd and 4th Mondays, 9:30-11:30am
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a dynamic program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS is a relevant and caring network, making moms better moms through trusted resources and relationships. MOPPETS, a children’s program for birth through preschool, runs concurrently for the MOPS participants’ children. For more information, contact Vicki Newendorp or click HERE for a brochure.
Missions Sewing
This group meets one Thursday per month to sew together quilts for needy groups and individuals. Also, they roll bandages and send them to the Congo in Africa.For more information, contact Barb Jestice at 952.435.5117.

Special events are offered throughout the year and provide opportunities to deepen your relationship with God and to grow together as Women of Faith event. Information is available at Connections.
Retreats
Whether you join with other Minnesota's Covenant women at the Covenant Pines annual fall retreat or participate in Faith’s bi-annual women's retreat, you can experience community on both a large and small basis.
Conferences
We have the opportunity to attend outside sponsored events together such the National Women of Faith conference held each fall at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN. Each year features worship artists and excellent speakers.
