ADULT MINISTRY Embrace Equip Extend
line

Faith Covenant Church has a rich history, a biblical perspective and a passionate congregation that understands the church is more than simply a place to worship and serve. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus directs us to “go and make disciples of all nations.” As a church, our common purpose, heartbeat and expectation is to reach and change lives—our own and the world around us—for Christ’s sake.

Adult Ministries create an environment where the passion to do Christ’s work here on earth is contagious, and the tools to do this work are readily available. With a clear and fervent understanding of this biblical purpose, the following theme emerges as we put Adult Ministries into action…

Embrace. Equip. Extend.

Connect us in meaningful ways so we can embrace our faith and each other. Equip us to apply our faith within our homes, our communities and the world. Challenge us to extend ourselves so that we’ll be effective beyond the walls of our church.

EMBRACE. Through Connecting Relationships.

Experiencing meaningful fellowship with one another is vitally important to us. We need each other for encouragement, support, challenge and accountability. Relationships and fellowship within the church keep us connected, allow us to prayerfully uphold each other and shape and instruct us in living Christ-like lives.

Faith’s Community Groups are one way of providing tangible connection for this kind of embracing relationship. Click here to learn more about Community Groups.

EQUIP. Knowledge With a Purpose.

It is important for believers to be in a state of steady growth, expanding their awareness of how Christ is at work, changing them daily and over time. Adult Ministries at Faith help us to be well-equipped in practical ways and challenged to live out our faith in a visible way.

Several Adult Learning Opportunity classes are offered that equip us to build stronger marriages and families, learn biblical principles, identify Spiritual gifts and practice evangelism. Click here to learn more about the classes currently offered.

EXTEND. Evangelism, Outreach and Missions

Though our words are important, apart from the active evidence of Christ in our lives, words are simply not enough. To change lives, we must also be living testaments to our faith. Our definition of evangelism includes both knowing Christ so we can share His good news and living Christ-like lives so He may be seen through us without words.

Faith Covenant offers multiple opportunities for providing financial and hands-on support to missions and outreach programs that help extend the Gospel, both locally and around the world. Click here to learn more about these opportunities.
