Faith K.I.D.S. (Kids Involved in Doing (God’s) Stuff)
Thank you for your interest in Children’s Ministry. We offer an exciting variety of programs to enrich and expand your child’s understanding of God’s love for them.
Our Mission
The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to lay down a spiritual foundation that, in God’s timing, will lead a child to a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a community of volunteers for the purpose of leading children toward a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Core Values
In everything we do, we strive to be...
Bible-based - Child-centered - Application-oriented - Small Group-driven - Creative - Safe - Fun - Excellent
We hold these values high because children matter to God!
Security Tags
When checking your child into their classroom, parents receive a security tag with a number that corresponds to their child’s tag. This tag must be presented by the parent to pick up their child. If a child should require their parent’s attention during a worship service, the security tag number will appear on the front screens. A ministry associate will escort you to the classroom.
EARLY CHILDHOOD
Infant/Toddler
These rooms are where our ministry to children begins. The health and safety of children is very important to us. We staff our rooms with carefully screened, caring adults who are committed to making your child feel welcome, accepted and loved.
We keep our infant/toddler rooms clean and sanitary. We enforce policies for safety and wellness. Children experience supervised “free play”, music, and stories about Jesus.
Preschoolers (ages 3, 4 and pre-K)
Preschool children receive Biblical teaching in age appropriate ways through play, music, movement, story time, crafts, games and prayer. As they reach this age group we begin to keep children with their peer group to move up together from year to year.
ELEMENTARY (K-3)
This early elementary age ministry is where children learn life-changing lessons, build valuable friendships, and most importantly, become grounded in their relationship with God through his son, Jesus Christ.
The ROCK (Grades 4-5)
The ROCK is our ministry for fourth and fifth graders that equips kids to think critically, to apply God’s work to their daily lives, and encourages them to invite friends to learn and participate in service projects, small groups, and age appropriate discussions.
